The coach was coveted by the Hammers, who are seeking a replacement for Sam Allardyce, as well as AC Milan but he has instead opted to remain at the Sanchez Pizjuan
Unai Emery has committed his future to Sevilla by signing a new contract to keep him at the club until 2017, thus ending West Ham's hopes of luring him to the Premier League.
The 43-year-old has led Sevilla to back-to-back Europa League titles and subsequently qualified for next season's Champions League following a recent rule change.
Emery had been targeted by West Ham that he received a lucrative contract offer, while Napoli were also credited with an interest, but he has now decided to extend his stay at the Sanchez-Pizjuan by an extra season on top of his current deal.
The Hammers are now likely to turn their attentions to fellow managerial target Slaven Bilic, a former player at Upton Park.
Having started his coaching career with roles at Lorca Deportiva, Almeria, Valencia and Spartak Moscow, Emery arrived in Seville in 2013.
And, in addition to success on the European stage, Emery has guided the club to consecutive fifth-placed finishes in La Liga.
