The 25-year-old had attracted interest from Manchester United but insists he has no plans to leave the Spanish capital and has denied a rift with Cristiano Ronaldo
Gareth Bale insists he has no intention of leaving Real Madrid this summer.Manchester United had been working on a deal to bring the 25-year-old back to the Premier League
Bale moved to the Santiago Bernabeu in 2013 for a world-record £86 million fee and won the Champions League in his first season but in his follow-up campaign, the winger struggled for form and was the subject of heavy criticism from the Madrid fans.
But when asked by The Sun if he will be at Madrid next term, Bale replied: "Of course, yes. I'm a Real Madrid player and I'll carry on as normal. I am enjoying it and hopefully I can continue to.
"I feel settled. I'm looking forward now to playing and winning more trophies. My goal is to keep improving, performing and to win as many titles as I can."
Bale also rejected the notion of a rift between himself and Cristiano Ronaldo, adding: "It's rubbish. When you are on the pitch you try to help your team-mates as much as you can.
"People are trying to create problems which aren't there. It's good and normal in training and playing with Cristiano. You train with the best players and you try to improve as much as they do."
