Watford snap up Holebas


The 31-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the newly-promoted Premier League club, joining the club from Roma and becoming their second signing of the summer
Watford have completed the signing of Roma defender Jose Holebas, the club have announced. 

The Greece international has signed a three-year deal with the Hornets, with the newly-promoted club paying a reported fee of £1.8 million for the full-back. 

Holebas, who only joined Roma from Olympiacos last summer, made 34 appearances in all competitions in 2014-15, scoring once and also providing an assist. 

The 31-year-old, a Greece international who has also played for 1860 Munich in the Bundesliga, joins fellow summer signing Marco Motta at Vicarage Road.
