Liverpool agree Bogdan deal

The goalkeeper will move to Anfield when his contract with Bolton expires, joining as back-up to Simon Mignolet following Brad Jones's release
Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan on a free transfer.

The 27-year-old will move to Anfield on July 1 when his contract at the Macron Stadium expires and becomes Brendan Rodgers third signing of the summer after James Milner and Danny Ings.

Bogdan, who has over 100 Premier League appearances to his name, will act as back-up to first-choice goalkeeper Simon Mignolet after Brad Jones was released earlier in June.

The Hungarian featured against Liverpool as recently as January, when he was named man of the match after a string of impressive saves during a 0-0 draw in the FA Cup fourth round at Anfield.

Bolton have already acted to replace Bogdan, signing Ben Amos following the expiry of his Manchester United contract.
