Inter have confirmed the signing of Geoffrey Kondogbia from Monaco for a fee believed to be in the region of €40 million.
The midfielder has agreed a five-year deal worth €4m a season plus bonuses and will now fly to Italy on Monday to undergo a medical and complete his move.
Kondogbia was initially expected to join AC Milan, but was persuaded to snub their interest after Inter boss Roberto Mancini personally called the France international on Friday.
Kondogbia spent two seasons at Monaco after joining the club from Sevilla and scored one goal in 23 games in Ligue 1 last season.
